Sant Jeroni de la Murtra is a place of solitude and silence that was inspired by Francesca Güell López (1885-1976). To foster these values, which we all need so much these days, the monastery has a hostelry where recesses are carried out on an individual basis.

This rest is open to everybody, with no distinction whatsoever of origin, belief or way of thinking; it is an interreligious and intercultural space.

Solitude and silence are a source of creation; this is the reason why the monastery is especially suitable for artists and intellectuals.
